Rotations of a die
It is not easy to visualize the effect of a rotation on the net of a die, without looking at the die itself. For example, if we compare this image with this other, we should be able to see a rotation of 90° around the line that goes through the centres of opposite faces (numbers 3 and 4).
For this reason, it is difficult to visualize the symmetry of a hypercube by observing its nets.
