Spherical triangles
This interactive animation shows the connection between a regular polyhedron (as, for example, the icosahedron), its dual (the dodecahedron in our example), and the tessellation of the sphere in equal triangles (in the example, 120 triangles of angles π/2, π/3 and π/5).
