Symmetry in a flag
The figure in the flag of the island of Man has a cyclic symmetry of type C3. If we consider also the red rectangle where the figure is inscribed, the symmetry of the flag is cyclic of type C1: there is no rotation that sends the flag in itself, apart from the identity.
