A rosette
This drawing has been used for an exhibit of Simmetria, giochi di specchi - Symmetry, playing with mirrors, in which visitors are asked to find out the symmetry axes of given drawings like this one. In this case, there are three symmetry axes; one of the ways to find out the axes is to put the figure inside a hole under this mirror and try to reproduce the image with half of the drawing and its reflection. In this case, we can reproduce the rosette between two mirrors at a 60°.
