Rotations of a die
It is not easy to visualize the effect of a rotation on the net of a die, without looking at the die itself. For example, if we compare this image with this other, we should be able to see a rotation of 120° around the diagonal of the cube (the diagonal that joins the vertex where faces 1-2-3 meet and the vertex where faces 4-5-6 meet).
For this reason, it is difficult to visualize the symmetry of a hypercube by observing its nets.
