Six tori in a hypercube
If we imagine to walk on a hypercube, set off from the centre of one cube and walk straight on towards one of the adjacent cubes, we cover a ring of four cubes (in orange) before arriving at the starting point. We can observe that the other 4 cubes not involved in the path (the ones in grey) form a torus. There are six tori of this kind in a hypercube, here you can see another one on the same net.
Compare this fact with the analogous situation in a cube.
