The Duomo in Bolzano
The decoration of the roof of Bolzano's "Duomo" (which we can see also here from a different point of view) has the same symmetry type as a normal brick wall; but this symmetry is different from the one you can see in the pavement of the square.
This example has been used in one of the ten signposts of the MIC project "Maths in the city".
