A lantern
A prismatic symmetry of octagonal type (the same symmetry of a pyramid with a regular octagon as a base) in one of the lanterns of the mosque Jama Masijd in Old Delhi (India). We find the same type of symmetry in a minaret of the same mosque. The construction of the building took place in 1650.
