A rosette
On the floor of the church Santa Maria in Trastevere in Rome, we can see a rosette, in which the symmetry of the external annulus (a dihedral symmetry of type D23) doesn't fit with the symmetry of the inner triangle (dihedral, of type D3). The whole rosette has symmetry C1: there are no isometries that send the figure in itself.
