A trefoil knot
The trefoil knot is the simplest knot; here you can see the two versions (left and right) of the knot, that differ for a specular image, and can't be deformed one into the other. You can compare the image with this other, that represents another diagram of the same knot.
The image appears in the double number 4-5 of the magazine XlaTangente and has been realized with the program KnotPlot.
